Hi Mark, I use to work for an local authority and we recieved a similar request, however the DSA is only for cost incurred by a disabled student due to there attendance at university and the student would need an alarm clock in life generally. However most Local Authority Social Services fund vibrating alarm clocks and light alarms for people for free. Hope this is helpful. Zoe
