Hello,

Yes, it's the Rank in the Display Options tab in the Experiment --> 
Spectra (or Edit Spectra in 2.0) dialog.  If you can sort the table (e.g. 
by clicking on the appropriate column heading) so that the spectra are in 
the order you want then you can use the "Set Ranks from Order" button at 
the bottom right to easily set the rank.  But if not then it has to be set 
by hand (i.e. by double-clicking in each cell).
