Ways Forward in Information Management for
Museums – Presentations and Publication available online now
As
requested by many of the participants, you can now download the programme and
presentations from the day-long symposium held on 30 March 2009 (re-scheduled to examine the importance of
information management and its role within the sector. On the day, current case
studies from the London Museum Hub's Information
and Records Management Project and two panels discussions were
held. The symposium was aimed at a wide spectrum of museum sector
professionals from small to large organisations across the UK and was delivered
by experts from both within and outside the sector, including Alice Grant (independent
consultant), Catherine Hare (independent consultant), David Thomas (The
National Archives), Tim Turner (Act Now), Claire Sussums (Museum of London),
Sarah R Demb (London Museums Hub), Christine Lalumia (Geffrye Museum), and
