The International Council on Archives in the form of the round table, CITRA, is currently meeting in Malta. Among the 230ish participants there is a comparatively large contingent from the UK and Ireland including 7 of the 45 speakers. The topic is an important one - and although the wording of the title implies it is all about archivists/heritage, the programme and discussion is also relevant to all recordkeeping professionals. More information on the programme can be found at the CITRA website http://www.citra2009.ica.org/fo/index.php Presentations will be available there after the event. The ICA's flying reporters are at the event http://flyingreporters.ica.org/malta2009/ Thanks to a bursary from the Society of Archivists' International Affairs working group which has partially supported my attendance, I am required to disseminate information about the event - so I am also blogging and twittering live from CITRA (internet connection permitting!) - for those who are interested, @msarahwickham #citra or http://msarahwickham.wordpress.com/ Best wishes from sunny Malta Sarah M Sarah Wickham, MA, MA, Registered Practitioner University Records Manager University of Huddersfield +44 (0)1484 473 935 http://www.hud.ac.uk/cls/recordsmanagement/ http://www.linkedin.com/in/msarahwickham Twitter: @msarahwickham Please don't print this e-mail unless you really need to. ________________________________ --- This transmission is confidential and may be legally privileged.
