•	19% of the Welsh population think that domestic abuse is best handled as a private matter

These are some of the findings of surveys into people’s experiences of and attitudes towards Violence Against Women. 

The Equality and Human Rights Commission, the Wales TUC and NUS Wales are holding a joint conference to explore the following:

·         What is Violence Against Women?

·         Why is Violence Against Women a workplace and campus issue?

·         How can we work together to change attitudes?
