RESEARCH PROJECT - SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Working within the “Religion and Belief, Discrimination and Equality in England and Wales: Theory, Policy and Practice (2000-2010)” which is a three year research project (AH/H016074/1) within the “Religion and Society” research programme supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the Economic and Social Research Council, and is based within the University of Derby’s Society, Religion and Belief Research Group.
 
0.5FTE temporary post, pro rata to £18,168 - £20,552 per annum
 
Proposed dates of employment: December 2009 - November 2012
 
Working as part of a small research project team, the post will support the academic staff of the project and the project student in undertaking the effective and efficient delivery of the project’s aims, objectives, outcomes and dissemination.
 
Apart from ongoing general work, the project will move through 3 phases/3 project years that will provide major shape/variety to the post holder’s work. This will include, in project year 1, support for the project’s national questionnaire survey; in project year 2, for the project’s fieldwork in five locations in England and Wales; and in project year 3 for production of project reports and organisation of the 5 national project knowledge exchange seminars.
