i recently came across this interesting tool for writing collaborative documents. http://www.textflow.com/ since so many of you write collaboratively, this may be very helpful. as you may know, word has the option to compare versions of documents (tools --> track changes --> compare documents). however, this software has the ability to collect all versions of a document people are working on, compare them, and then show you both edits next to one another and you can select which one--or parts of each--you would like to use. it may be useful for some.
