Hi everyone,

As part of the Festival of Learning we will be holding a Star Party in
Bristol this Wednesday evening at 7:30pm (for full details, see our poster
<http://sciencepodcasts.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/nightunderthestars_poste
r1.pdf> ). As part of the Festival of Learning, the night is specifically
aimed at people with little prior knowledge of space and astronomy. We will
be running star shows in an inflatable planetarium, talking about how to use
a telescope and then (weather permitting) taking a short walk out onto the
Clifton Downs to do some “live” star spotting. If you know any people in the
area who may be interested then they can book tickets by emailing
[log in to unmask] and they cost all of £1 per person. Spaces are
very limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Thanks,

Jim Bell
