Photos of women of outstanding achievement in science, engineering and technology on show in Second Life

For the first time, the six 2009 professional photo portraits are on display in Second Life, at the island run by Nature Magazine.Dr Carolin Quentin of the Institute of Astronomy and Wendy Sadler, founder of Science Made Simple, are both recipients of the award and will speak at the event.
This photographic award is run by the UK Resource Centre for Women in Science Engineering and Technology.

Join us for speakers, free champagne, networking and to view the images. 
Ideal for newcomers to Second Life as well as experienced visitors.
