Dear All,

I should like to thank those of you who replied to my email and paper about the proposed Research & Teaching Centre for the Child and Family - I received some wonderful and confirmatory responses!

Amongst these was an offer from CARN (Collaborative Action Research Network) to support a day with Jack Whitehead and myself, when we could explore the question "How do we integrate research and practice to improve the wellbeing of children and young people?"

It really doesn't matter what interest you have in relation to children's lives - education, care, health, music, creative arts, religion / spirituality ...................   - our challenge is for each of us to stay true to our individual interests, experience and passions, whilst connecting with others in their commitment to improving the quality of children's lives.

I have attached a copy of the CARN flyer - and also my original paper, for those of you wishing to be reminded of the proposal which led to my asking whether you
would you be interested in gathering together for a day's exploratory dialogue!!

Please do let me know if you are interested in joining us for the day - I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Joan
