Hi Kathryn,
Paul
.
Hi all
We have been asked by a council to do their
healthcare workers vaccinations. The relevant PCT is all but refusing to do this
for them. I am worried about indemnity both for the doctor (writing the
instruction and the nurse administering the vaccs. There are many other
issues to resolve before we actually get to the clinic but most are
surmountable, however the issue of indemnity as we are a private OH
provider is a worry. I have been in touch with the RCN and they say we are
fine, however, I am not so sure?
Personally I would send them back
to the PCT but I am not the one making the decision on this.
I
would value any advice.
Many thanks,
Kay Nicholson
