Dear all, I'm also flued out and feel a little let down by the slow release of information and supporting resources. We'll start our vaccinations tomorrow - I'm first on the list but this is only possible as we had our own PGD passed last week. I was a bit sceptical about a department of health document about psychological care of NHS staff during a pandemic but I am now beginning to suspect that this resource was actually intended for those delivering the vaccination programme as I can certainly feel the old stress levels increasing. Perhaps we need to form a flu vaccinators support group! If anyone has any success stories for getting a high uptake it would be great if people could share their advice here. I'm hoping for a 40% uptake in target staff but am only expecting the usual 15-20%. It will save to my PC and it will start to play but justs stops and goes back to the start again. Even if I just try to open it directly from the DH page it does the same thing. I will try to get my IT dept to download it themselves and see how they fare. I haven't received any PGD but have written 2 for each brand, which haven't yet been approved. Wasn't aware that PGD's were being provided with supply of the vaccine as we are not part of NHS here in Guernsey. No vaccine yet either....still waiting patiently for delivery. I have only a transcript of the training and have you received a PGD yet? It won't play any more than 20 secs on my PC and our IT dept seem to think it is a problem with the file rather than with my PC. I am not convinced. If anyone has this saved could they perhaps send as an attachment so that I can try to access it that way.
