It would be impossible for us to inform every GP as we deal with many foreign contractors as well as our own contractors and employess.
What we do is ask the employee / contractor to  take a copy of the vaccination card that we issue to the GP , so their GP's medical records can be updated.
The person vaccinated has to take responsibilty for his / her own health.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] RE OH Departments informing employee's own GP when they have administered an immunisation

Just wondering how many of your OH Departments routinely inform the employee’s own GP when you have administered an immunisation and the reasoning for doing or not doing this.

Kind Regards

Abi
