People’s
Collection Workshop

The workshop will provide an
opportunity for members of the Federation of Museums and Galleries of Wales to
understand the overall developments relating to the People’s Collection
and gain practical experience of the technical functionality, editorial content
and innovation developments.
Aims
·
To gain knowledge and understanding
of the People’s Collection’s functionality. This will be
integrated with a step-by-step journey through the site, with each participant
having live access.

To gain knowledge and understanding
of the technical options for integrating data with the Peoples Collection.
·
To gain knowledge and understanding
of the Innovation Developments
(Tom Pert)
·
To gain knowledge and understanding
of the content developed for Alpha and phased Alpha release.
·
Provide information on the copyright
guidance relating to the People’s Collection. (Allison Coleman)
·
Discuss and identify possible
options for managing, editing and providing content including details of the
editorial style guide
