BFI Southbank

BFI Southbank hosts a two month season of cinema screenings, events and talks exploring how radical television playwrights addressed society and politics in the 60s and 70s, responded to the challenges of Thatcherism in the 80s, and adapted to Thatcher's legacy and the rise of New Labour in the 90s to the present.

The season has been created in collaboration with the Department of Media Arts, Royal Holloway, University of London, and with support from the London Centre for Arts and Cultural Exchange (LCACE)
