This is a brand-new, full-time, permanent post (arising out of work done during the past two years between NHS Stoke and Stoke-on-Trent public library service), which aims to improve public access to, and the quality of, health-related information within the city of Stoke-on-Trent.

JOB DESCRIPTION 
Working with the library service and NHS Stoke, you will coordinate a strategic approach to developing and promoting libraries as centres of excellence for the provision of health-related information. 
You will ensure that a comprehensive health information service is available to people so that they can make informed choices about their health. 

PERSON SPECIFICATION 
You will have: 
- A Degree or equivalent qualification essential, preferably in Library and Information Studies. 
- The ability to think strategically, lead and motivate people, plan and manage projects and communicate effectively.
