> On 1st December ALISS (Association of Librarians and Information Professionals in the Social Sciences) will be holding a half-day conference on the topical issue of social policy in Europe. The speakers will include:

> University of Bradford, acting head of Library services,  Team Europe speaker, and  experienced trainer on EU information sources for the European Commission and European Information Association, who will talk about the EU Social Agenda, covering  policy developments, key documents and official information sources.

> Julie Robinson, Project Information Officer, Social Care Institute for Excellence, who will talk about finding information on social care in Europe. She will highlight key resources that every information worker should know about!

> Angela Joyce,  University of Bristol, who will offer insight on a recent survey, published by UACES, of the issues users face in using EU websites and how Intute can help.
