Dear Colleagues

We are pleased to announce the call for papers for the Annual Symposium 2010, of the Learning Development in Higher Education Network which will take place at Nottingham Trent University on 29, 30 and 31 March 2010.   This will be a joint event co-hosted by the LearnHigher Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.

Call for Papers

We invite proposals for presentations, workshops, panel discussions and posters.  Contributions should address the conference theme, in relation to the many ways in which collaborative partnerships can enrich the practices of learning development:

For example (but not restricted to)

 *   Partnerships within institutions e.g. cross-disciplinary projects, student-staff partnerships, centralised support services working with departments, student-student collaborative ventures
 *   Partnerships between institutions e.g. collaborative projects involving more than one university, joint CETLS
 *   Partnerships with professional bodies e.g. Joint professional qualifications / conferences, training, staff development
 *   International partnerships e.g. International networks, using IT to enable collaborative international working,

and/ or

 *   Use of technology to facilitate collaborative working

Abstracts
of 250 words should be submitted to:

The deadline
for submission of papers to accompany presentations (suggested length 2500 - 5000 words) or for panel discussion, posters or workshop events (suggested length 1500 - 2500 words) is Monday 15 February 2010.

Journal
Authors may also submit their papers to the Journal of Learning Development in Higher Education (JLDHE).  To register with JLDHE as a potential writer or reviewer, visit the journal home page on the ALDinHE website.
