Dear All

The gap in life expectancy between men and women in the European Region
is up to 14 years. Women live longer than men, but usually with greater
disability. Men and women differ in health risks and behaviour, and use
of services. A new WHO/Europe policy brief written by Sarah Payne from
the University of Bristol looks at how health policies can ensure gender
equity.

The policy brief can be accessed at

Best wishes
