Clerical Officer Vacancy

 

We require an enthusiastic person to join our dynamic team in providing a
high-quality service to prospective and current disabled students advising
on the provision of support services and facilities within the University.
The service promotes a student-centred approach to support provision and
achieves this through close liaison with other support services, academic
departments and external agencies. 

 

The appointee will carry out reception and clerical duties to support the
department, and deal with enquiries from students, staff and visitors.
Candidates should ideally have previous clerical experience, preferably in
an education environment and the ability to communicate with people,
together with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Experience of delivering good customer service with excellent
organisational/time management skill and good IT skills including Word,
Excel, database usage and email are essential.

 

This post is full time (35 hours per week).

 

Closing Date: 28 October 2009


Salary:  £17,026 – 19,089 per annum with the potential to progress to
£20,834
