We're looking to find out how universities manage the use of staff details on their external websites.

Do staff have to give consent if there details are in a contacts directory? Do they have to give consent for their name and/or contact details, photos, etc to be used on web pages? And if so, how is consent obtained? ie opt-in or opt-out And is it separate for directory vs web pages?
