Hi,
Is anyone
involved in qualitative fit testing using Bitrex solution and if so have you had
anyone report an adverse reactions to the Bitrex fit test
solution?
The MSDS does
not indicate sensitisation as a problem ( it is American though and
doesn't use HSE risk phrases) but there is an academic paper from
Canada documneting adverse reactions including, contact urticaria,
angioedema and respiratory symptoms in healthcare workers exposed to
this.
Has anyone
using this kit put in place any screening to identify/exclude 'at risk
individuals' from being exposed to this product or other control
measures?
