Libraries on Facebook
Like many other companies in the UK, our Trust has banned access to Facebook and Twitter. I think both products have their uses as a marketing
tool - and certainly prove staff are "with it" - but I fear I remain unconvinced about the return value for the time & effort required to set up pages and, more importantly, keep them right up to the minute. It's an ongoing debate!
Hi all
I've been experimenting with Facebook and Twitter
with a personal page and I would now like to set up a
page for the library itself on Facebook.
If there are any of you out there that have already done so,
would you give me details and access to your pages
so that I can decide the best way of presenting our library

Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust is applying to become a Foundation Trust and we want to recruit 4,000 members (who can be either patients or members of the public) from the local community to have a say in how
the Trust is run and help shape the future of the hospital for the next 20 years. Members can:
• Help influence decisions about future plans for the development of the Trust.
• Support the work of the Trust and receive regular newsletters.
• Stand for election to the Council of Governors and work with the Trust Board to ensure that the Trust delivers services that reflect the needs of the local community.
