This is very
much, it seems to me, a publicity article for the new
NHS Evidence Search Engine. No mention of being able to make more precise
advanced searches using Search 2.0 (or HDAS, as it now seems to be called). No
mention of the specialist collection (formerly specialist
libraries).
I take
exception to
Until now, finding relevant and
reliable information has been complex and time-consuming, which has been
problematic, particularly for specialist nurses and those involved in training
and policymaking.

one seen this?!
How
the web portal NHS Evidence will help nurses to make informed
decisions
Whilst I accept that any thing
that alerts clinical staff to NHS Evidence is probably a good thing, I do
feel that the author has missed a couple of major points; such as there is no
mention of health librarians helping nurses to search NHS Evidence or that
nurses will need an Athens password to access much of the
material.
Anyone care to share their
views?
