**Digital futures - adapting to new e-environments: the 9th annual e-books conference** **Special early bird rates still available - only £65!** Take advantage of the special early bird rate and book now for this year's conference to be held in the Mitchell Library, Glasgow on 22nd October 2009. This year's programme is the result of a collaborative partnership between SLIC/MmITS/SCURL and for the first time SALCTG (Scottish Academic Libraries Co-operative Training Group) and is designed to appeal to all sectors. The Conference will be chaired by Liz McGettigan, Head of Edinburgh City Libraries, and includes supplier showcases and a supplier exhibition. A programme is now available, with the following speakers participating: Linda Bennett (Gold Leaf Publishing Consultancy) - the e-books strategic landscape; Dave Pattern (University of Huddersfield) - OPAC 2 and Beyond; Liam Earney (JISC) - the JISC National E-Books Observatory Project; Graeme Miller (OCLC) - the Public Library E-Content Starter Pack; Dan Franklin (Canongate Publishing) - the publisher's perspective on future developments with e-books.
