Community Access & Education Officer (British Steel Archive Project) £19,645 - £22,765 Temporary for 12 months or until 31 December 2010, whichever is the sooner Teesside University, Middlesbrough Under the direction of the Community Engagement Manager, you will initiate and organise community engagement projects and activities associated with the British Steel Archive Project. This will include supervising project volunteers, building links with community organisations to raise awareness of the project and running workshops and activities. Qualified to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. history, archives, teaching), you will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a number of organisations. You must have good organisational skills and experience of developing and running workshops. Good IT skills using Windows XP, Microsoft Office and the internet are essential as is a willingness to work flexibly, including some evenings or weekends.
