Dear
colleagues,
We
are pleased to announce the publication of the first issue of Archive Sector
Update, our new e-newsletter. In this first edition, among much else, you
can find out more about the work of Archives Sector Development, read a report
on the hugely successful launch of Corporate Memory – a guide to
managing business archives, and get an update on the revision of the
records management Code of Practice issued under s46 of the Freedom of
Information Act.
We
also have an events calendar, and a section featuring stories from the Wider
Archives World. If you would like to suggest content for future issues, please
do get in touch via [log in to unmask].
