It was all to do with "not using technology" and "farming the translation out to non EEA nations" and a load of other journalistic hoopla about confidentiality.

Today I had my first encounter with Spinvox at http://www.ipadio.com/phlogs/TimTrent/?phlogcastId=9526 (I hope that url is not filtered like blogs are)

Looking at that load of... garbage (no, not the phonecast, for which I fear you will need speakers or a headset) I think I can say without fear or favour that this was machine textified from what I used to think was very clear speech! If that went to an offshore outsourced centre then they did a peculiar job!
