Apologies for cross-posting - I've at last been given some details of what has so far been my highly secret World Tour of England, Ireland and Scotland (organised by the Australian Poetry Centre), and hope some of you can come to some of these... Some dates are with my co-tourer, the poet Robert Gray, and I'm not privy to what else he is doing - but he's round and about as well, and worth hearing. And there's possibly also a reading in Hull. But possibly not. xA 15 OCTOBER LONDON - 1pm Robert Gray & Alison Croggon Poetry Studio, The Poetry Society 22 Betterton Street London GUILDFORD - 7.30pm University of Surrey, as part of the Guildford Book Festival Austin Pearce Lecture Theatre 1, University of Surrey, Stag Hill, Guildford website: http://www.guildfordbookfestival.co.uk 19 OCTOBER – CORK READING: Robert & Alison 10pm at Ó Bhéal in Cork City website: http://www.obheal.ie 22 OCTOBER – DUBLIN READING: Robert & Alison 6.30pm reading at Unitarian Church, 112 St Stephen’s Green West 23 OCTOBER – GALWAY READING: Robert & Alison 8pm at the Library in Gort County, Galway 28 OCTOBER – EDINBURGH READING: Alison Reading with Emily Ballouat Scottish Poetry Library, 5 Crichton's Close, Canongate, Edinburgh 7.30pm 29 OCTOBER – GLASGOW READING: Alison 7pm reading with two leading Scottish Poets (Richard Price & Raymond Friel) now living in England at the Poetry Club, Glasgow School of Art, 167 Renfrew Street Richard Price was born in 1966 and grew up in Renfrewshire.
