 The Wellcome Library is rich in visual resources relating to the
history and cultures of health and medicine .

The new autumn programme of Wellcome Library workshops can be found on
the Library website at:

The workshops provide introductions to research and information
resources ,  and are aimed at the general public. 
 
There are several workhops in the area of medical humanities that may be
of interest:
 - thematic workshops  on finding scientific images , and the history of
medicine;
 - training on specific resources such as the Wellcome Images database
(170,000 contemporary and historical digital images) ;
 - and introductions to the Wellcome Archives , (which include
historical photographs, ephemera, and unpublished manuscripts).
All workshops are free and available to everyone who joins the library
(library membership is also free and open to all).
