Dear Colleagues, The following document is now on the web: September 2009/35 Annual accountability returns 2009 - http://www.hefce.ac.uk/pubs/hefce/2009/09_35/ The document asks HEIs to send us their annual accountability returns for 2009, to inform the annual process previously known as the 'single conversation'. The link from this web-only document invites HEIs to contact their relevant HEPA for queries on annual monitoring (AMS) and corporate planning statements (CPS) and data returns; or to contact named assurance consultants or assurance advisers for financial and audit accountability returns. Just a forewarning that annual monitoring statement requests will be going out to HEIs at the end of September and guidance will be published on the HEFCE website at this time. Please note that questions have been amended to include: 18. Have you made progress or met your objectives from last year as set out in your 2008-09 equality action plan? Response Yes/No If no, please give further details including any barriers to implementation. If yes, please use this space to highlight any particular achievements. 19. Please briefly describe your key equality objectives and/or actions for 2009-10. In keeping with normal practice we are inviting HEIs to submit their AMS and CPS returns by 1 December 2009.
