The Institute for Pediatric Neuroscience is currently recruiting a research programmer. 
Responsibilities for this position include designing, developing, and supporting software 
required to analyze functional and structural MRI data in clinical populations.  The 
programmer will work as part of a multidisciplinary team that works to integrate the 
findings of a broad spectrum of approaches including:

- resting state functional MRI
- simultaneous EEG/fMRI
- diffusion tensor imaging
- cortical thickness
- voxel-based morphometry

Flexibility exists for the development of novel analytic approaches and algorithms.

Required Education and Experience:
	BA/BS degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field required 
(advanced degree preferred). Alternative degree fields will be considered/accepted if 
accompanied by equivalent experience (depending on nature and depth of experience as 
it relates to relevant projects).
	Two years related work experience.
	Extensive experience in Perl, BASH or similar scripting language.
	Extensive background in C / C++ languages.
        Working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX environments.
