Hi *, according to the documentation gLite 3.2 worker nodes should be installed via "yum groupinstall glite-WN". How about updates? I think they have to be applied via "yum groupupdate glite-WN", haven't they? Otherwise new members of the rpm group won't get installed (glite-swat* in the last update). This isn't mentioned in https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/LCG/GenericInstallGuide320#Updates But if I do a groupupdate right now this fails with: [root@galaxy11 ~]# yum groupupdate glite-WN [...] Resolving Dependencies --> Running transaction check ---> Package GFAL-client.i386 0:1.11.7-1.sl5 set to be updated ---> Package lcg_util.i386 0:1.7.4-1.sl5 set to be updated --> Finished Dependency Resolution Dependencies Resolved =============================================================================== Package Arch Version Repository Size =============================================================================== Installing: GFAL-client i386 1.11.7-1.sl5 glite-WN-updates 2.4 M lcg_util i386 1.7.4-1.sl5 glite-WN-updates 322 k Transaction Summary =============================================================================== Install 2 Package(s) Update 0 Package(s) Remove 0 Package(s) Total size: 2.7 M Is this ok [y/N]: y Downloading Packages: Running rpm_check_debug Running Transaction Test Finished Transaction Test Transaction Check Error: package lcg_util-1.7.6-1.sl5.x86_64 (which is newer than lcg_util-1.7.4-1.sl5.i386) is already installed package GFAL-client-1.11.8-2.sl5.x86_64 (which is newer than GFAL-client-1.11.7-1.sl5.i386) is already installed Error Summary ------------- To me this means the repo is corrupt. Other opinions? If yes, will this get fixed?
