Apparently this works …

But it does take some fiddling with the
registry.

problem
Thanks Dax
No, we’ve had that one and a re-install
of ProSolution onto the client PC solved it. ProSolution opens and closes fine.
However, when it has been opened and closed and then we try to open Access
2007, Access 2007 invokes a re-figuration process that takes 2 or 3 minutes
before it will allow itself to open.
Once Access 2007 has been opened it will
open again correctly until ProSolution is opened – then it invokes the
re-configuration again.

If you mean the following …
Open Access
Close Access
Open Access app through shortcut
(This works fine)
Open ProSolution
Close ProSolution
Open Access App through shortcut
(opens in Access 2000 run time version,
which falls over)
This happens at the moment in Office 2003
for us. Solution has been to make sure the shortcut knows which version it
should be opening.
Like this …
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\OFFICE11\MSACCESS.EXE"
"C:\Schedule\2008\Schedule2008.mde"
Which should be in the “target” text for
the shortcut.

Subject: MS Access 2007 problem
Hi Everyone
We have recently moved to MS Office
2007. Each time we now open ProSolution (6.3) and then MS Access 2007 it
invokes a re-configuration process.
Has it happened to anyone else? Does
anyone know of a fix?
