I have found that the register cross tab thing Compass do is pretty limited. It doesn’t show tutor info for a start.

 

I do have a Access database which makes an exact copy of our manual registers in Excel which if anyone is interested in having I will make available. We use it for printing out all our online registers at the end of the year (auditor req ????) and replacing any manual ones that get lost.

HI Nick

I don’t think this is well known, but if you choose a register from the eProSolution  “Registers”  from the menu bar and then click on the “reports” tab and then click on View Registers it will automatically open up the full view of the chosen register. If you then press the browser “Back” option you will return to the chosen register. In this way a lecturer can flip into historical view whilst marking each individual register.

Before I reinvent the wheel, does anyone have a report for a register that a member of teaching staff can print out and complete, and that can also be printed showing previous register entries? If you have, could you email me the report and/or datasource (if custom).
