Aren't OH technicians usually qualified as a general nurse?

What about OH technicians? All the ones I have met would probably
fulfill the criteria

My degree NHS placement was in a department where they had a health care
asst...and very valuable she was too!

A friend of mine, who is a careers advisor, is asking about nursing
assistant/nursing auxiliary  type roles in OH, and I have advised her
that there isn't any nursing assistant role within OH, I am now
questioning myself now - am I right?
