Frank,
The clipboard is the clipboard and as such is a basic function of
Windows regardless of the application. All Windows programs allow Ctrl-C which
copies to the clipboard (Ctrl-V pastes from the clipboard), so Yes, MS Office
(regardless of version) and any other Windows program (including any Windows
based database you may use) that can access the clipboard would be vulnerable!

Thanks for the tip. Does this count for office 2007 or all
MS products?

The
following information was supplied by a large organsation I do some work for:
Did you know that Internet Explorer allows any website
to obtain the current contents of your clipboard?
According to Microsoft
this isn't a bug, it's a feature.
When you copy any text
in an application it stays in your clipboard until it is replaced or you
logout. Imagine you're working in Microsoft Word or Email and you copy data
from one place to another. Any website you visit could steal this sensitive
information.
The IT Department have
investigated the issue and tested the recommended Microsoft ‘fix’ … which
doesn’t work!
The only workaround is
to clear the clipboard (or copy something useless) before using the internet,
and then to desist from using the clipboard until you stop using the internet
(i.e. you close the browser).
Cheers
Diane
