medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture I don't know if anyone has posted this yet on this list, since I've been "off" medieval-religion for the duration of my travels this past month, and I didn't see it in the archives. But I heard this sad news first from Lesley Smith, and later saw it on the website of the Lollard society: Mary Dove, editor of the Corpus Christianorum Glossa ordinaria on Song of Songs, translator of the same for the TEAMS Commentary series, and author of "The First English Bible: The Text and Context of the Wycliffite Versions" (2007), died on June 5 of this year. I do not know the cause or circumstances, and I have not found any official obits. But I know that we will miss her dearly as a warm-hearted and lovely person and great colleague.
