This course willl give an overview of significant changes in the library/information environment, and their consequences for information providers.

In a rapidly changing library/information environment, itself set within a rapidly changing social, economic and technical context, it can be difficult for information specialists to feel confident that they are up-to-date with the latest trends and issues. And perhaps even more difficult to know what to do about it.

This highly-participative course gives an overview of some important recent changes in the 'information landscape', and helps participants make plans for how to keep up-to-date, and how to 'future proof' their careers.
