It generally isn't very critical to use bias-corrected images with 
FIRST as it does local comparisons, but if there is substantial 
bias field in the image then it is likely to help if you can get rid 
of it beforehand. 
 
As for SIENAX, the bias-correction is built into the FAST 
segmentation.
