Workshop leaders ================= Each session will be led by a member of the international IMPACT (Improving Access to Text) project, a large-scale integrating project funded by the European Commission as part of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). One of the aims of the project is to develop tools that help improve OCR results for historical printed texts. The presenters are therefore well-placed to provide information and advice on the current state-of-the-art in text digitisation tools and techniques, and in particular on OCR technologies.
