How did engineers measure and calculate in the past? And what makes a universal grinding machine ‘universal’? The Science, Technology and Industry SSN, in association with the Museums Association, presents this Monument Fellowship Masterclass, led by Dr Jim Andrew, will introduce and explore two different topics of interest to curators of industrial collections – historical measurements, and machine tools and production machines.
