I'm currently researching the communication of science in equestrian magazines as part of a masters dissertation. I've managed to find plenty of references to sports journalism, but I've not yet found any research looking at the use of science in sports magazines (other than previous university dissertations). Does anyone know of such research? Ideally I'm looking for work that focuses on magazines, but any media will do, and likewise I'm interested in reading about any sports.
