Senior-Level C# Developer with GIS (ESRI) skills Job Description: This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior-level developer to join a world leading company within the financial sector, working in their GIS catastrophe risk modeling team. Due to considerable growth in demand for analytical services, they are seeking to expand their successful Product Development team, in particular the GIS practice. They are looking for a senior-level C#.NET web developer to join their Development Team of over 20 people. The position will involve: · Design and development of high-profile web applications with a strong GIS component, as part of a dedicated development team · In future, further development of the existing C#.NET applications that they currently have (Desktop, ASP.NET): catastrophe modeling applications, spatial modeling applications, visualization applications Experience Required: · Degree educated in GIS - essential · Strong background and some commercial experience of C#, HTML, CSS and Javascript: essential · GIS programming skills: demonstrable experience developing web mapping applications with ESRI's ArcObjects API, Google Maps API, and ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE etc. · Experience in software engineering (e.g. design, testing): essential · Experience of SQL and SQL Server: essential · Experience in web architecture and N-tier: essential · Experience of SQL Server Reporting Services: a bonus · Team player - essential CVs that do not demonstrate the above skills will not be considered.
