It was suggested at the Disability network meeting held by Action on
Access in June that people actually write into HEFCE to say about what
the reduction in ALF money has meant to institutions in terms of
diagnostic assessments rather than just put up with the reduction and
say nothing. For us it has meant the introduction of students having to
pay £50 towards their assessment.

If anyone has time to email could they please tell HEFCE what the
reduction in ALF money has had on the support for disabled students
especially in regards to diagnostic testing in their University?

Thanks
Sheila
