Dear all, The launch of the 'new' LQM/CIEH GAC will take place on Wednesday 22 July (note change of date). This is a week or so later than originally announced so that we can incorporate substances which we thought would be covered by SGVs by the end of June and to allow the consequent detailed cross checking of what is a considerable volume of work. I hope you will be able to join us in Nottingham on 22 July and be the first to receive copies of the new GAC but in the event you are not able to attend you can of course order a copy of the publication. The launch will be held at the University Club, University Park, University of Nottingham, Nottingham NG7 2RD starting with registration at 1030am and finishing by 1600. For your information I attach a list of the 80 substances that we are deriving LQM/CIEH GAC for. You will see that it is much more extensive than the 1st edition and includes many substances for which we previously had SGVs and for which we may have anticipated 'new' SGVs for by now. This includes 7 metals, 16 TPH fractions, 16 PAHs, chloroaliphatics, chlorobenzenes, pesticides, phenols and chlorophenols.
