Dear all,

 

Money for audiovisual archive training is now available through the Skillset Screen Bursaries scheme. More information is available on our website, along with the online application form: http://www.skillset.org/screenbursaries.

 

Applicants need to have experience of working with audiovisual archives and live in the UK. Employees can receive up to 50% of training costs and freelancers (which includes employees on a contract of less than a year) can receive up to 80%. There are also a limited number of grants of up to £1,000 for people accepted onto an MA in Film Archiving, such as the UEA course or an equivalent course abroad.

 

NB In line with Film Council funding guidelines, bursaries are not be available for any training courses which already receive Skillset funding or those which will be funded through the Skillset Archive Skills funding programme.
