Dear Jenny - the bone spatula type object looks very familiar - I wondered
if it could be tongue depressor? - ie medical - it is ringing a bell, but
not loudly enough, I am afraid!
The shape is quite similar to netting tools, but it seems a bit too thick
for that.
You have been busy this week!
Cheers
Christine

Dear All,

Me again, sorry. Any thoughts on the two items in the attached pictures?

One seems to be made of ivory or bone (it has some sort of grain), and one
end seems to be a handle (there's more weight to it and a definate
hip)....is this a blank for something? If so, any thoughts?

The other items is a total mystery to us as it was found uncatalogued,
although we did think lamp or something like it because we think that it
asbestos in the end. Don't worry, double bagging happened promptly
afterwards!

Something to muse over with a cup of tea and some colleagues maybe...

Thanks,

Jenny
