Dear Colleagues,

Attached is the link to the BBC program called ‘Health Check’. Prof. Michael Marmot (of Whitehall studies fame) and I did an interview on the financial recession and its potential impact on health, and particularly the adverse effects of job insecurity. If you scroll to about half way through the program you will find this occupational section, although the first part of the program on men’s health risk from cancers is also very interesting.

Subject: Draft ESCs for OHNs

Hello Kate
Please find attached the draft skills clusters for Occupational Health Nurses. They are in a different format to HVs and I understand that we are still waiting for those of School Nursing.

I see that you have asked for responses by May 30th. I suggest that the AOHNE do the same and then we are working to the same time frame.
