Thanks, Pat - I did wonder if they were celluloid, but it has stayed very clear, no yellowing at all. I'll see if I can trace the paper you mention. They must have been in our invertebrate gallery which was put together in the 1950's, I think. At first I thought they might be Blaschka, the modelling is so good, but they appear to be made from a plastic, rather than glass.
